Professional TX Notarial Services

Notarizations

From complex estate plans to everyday legal agreements—if a document requires a notary, we can handle it. Please note that under Texas law, certain statutory exceptions apply. Specifically, vital records (such as birth, death, or marriage certificates) cannot legally be notarized or certified by a notary public. For these items, you must request a certified copy directly from the issuing government agency.

Last Updated: August 2026

Welcome to LC Notary Public Services. By booking an appointment online, via text, or over the phone with our team or our independent dispatched notary network, you explicitly agree to the following terms, conditions, and operational policies.

1. Identification Requirements (Mandatory)

By law, a Notary Public must positively identify all signers.

  • Valid ID Required: Every signer must present an original, physical, unexpired government-issued photo identification at the time of the appointment. Acceptable forms of ID include a Texas Driver’s License, Texas ID Card, US Passport, or US Military ID.

  • Digital/Copies Not Accepted: Photocopied, digital, or photographed versions of identification on smartphones cannot and will not be accepted under Texas law.

  • Name Matching: The name on the identification must match the name printed on the document exactly.

  • Failure to provide legal identification at the time of arrival will result in a cancellation of the signing and a forfeiture of the travel fee.

2. Traveling and Mobile Service Locations

We operate our of our physical offices but also provide mobile dispatch services. Appointments take place at a location designated during booking, including residential homes, commercial offices, or pre-arranged community meeting spaces (such as local coffee shops, nursing homes, hospitals) in our service sectors (Austin, Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Liberty Hill and more).

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring the chosen location is safe, public, or accessible for the dispatched notary at the scheduled time.

3. Appointment Custom Fees & Payments

Because travel distances, document volumes, and witness requirements vary, all rates are customized and finalized with the client prior to the appointment.

  • Fee Structure: Total fees consist of Texas state-mandated notary signature fees plus a private mobile travel/administrative fee.

  • Payment Terms: All fees must be settled either prior to dispatch or immediately upon the notary's arrival at the location, before documents are stamped and executed.

4. Cancellation, Delays, and No-Show Policy

Our notaries travel on strict schedules to serve clients across the region.

  • Cancellation Window: Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least ten (10) hours prior to the set appointment time.

  • Late/No-Show Fee: If a notary arrives at the designated location and the signer is a no-show, does not have their paperwork ready, lacks proper identification, or is mentally incapable of signing, the mobile travel fee remains 100% due and non-refundable to cover the contractor’s time and fuel.
